Stretch Like a Cat & Other Coping Skills for young people


Depression, anxiety, and stress affect young people. Even when not severe enough for a diagnosis, there are many times when parents and carers know that a young person needs some extra coping skills. Perhaps it’s trouble with sleeping, nervousness about school, being worried about being with other children, or worries about more general things. This CD has been compiled with 12 tracks to aid coping, resilience, mindfulness in young people (approximately 4-17 years). I recommend that parents/carers listen to a track with their children and discuss what comes up. I suggest making each exercise playful and gentle so that it is a positive interaction.
